Figuratives

In the 90's, my mode of exploration was like that of a grasshopper. I could jump from series to series between the abstract and figurative ideas. It was my way of learning form composition. I had to create with my own camera, making collages of photographs to create different subjects and themes. It also served to honor my childhood and my mother, “la Tota,” with paintings reminiscent of her bar, as in "Bar shelf." Part of the bar series was first exhibited at the Domingo Padrón gallery in Coral Gables, Florida, in the 90’s.
