Jazz

This is a series I created in the late 90's after visiting New Orleans on a business trip. I was fascinated by the color and the smell of music more than for its sound. I bought hundreds of postcards and collected band brochures from different jazz bars. Later with no intention to learn anything but with the idea of having fun in the process, I painted with no rest. This series had a lot of success. I exhibited Rhythm and Hats at the Domingo Padrón Gallery in Coral Gables, Florida in 2002, at Gallery Vincent in Coconut Grove, Florida in 2002 and in the Dominican Republic and in various group exhibitions in 2003 and 2004. Gallery Frame Art Miami, in Brickell and sold almost everything.
