Flowers

Flowers are one of the most portrayed objects in the history of painting. Flowers have inspired artists of all ages and cultures. From Kahlo, Rivera, Picasso, O'Keefe, Murakami, Renoir, Matisse and Twombly, to Warhol, Van Gogh, Koons, Manet, Mondrian, Klimt, Monet and Katz everyone has used them in their prolific work.

The strokes of these renowned artists give plurality and diversity to the art world. I am most fascinated by the floral minimalism of Twombly—this Flowers Series is inspired by his flowers, colors, and strokes.
